FREE CHOCOLATE BY APRIL BANKS

Conceptual artist April Banks presents her first solo exhibition which examines the 'intricate global economy that is driven by the constantly growing demand for cocoa'.  The exhibit runs through February 17, 2007 at THE INTERSECTION FOR THE ARTS AT 446 Valencia between 15th and 16th Streets.  Check out the website for a list of chocolate related events including a conversation with the artist on Saturday, January 27th at 1pm and a panel discussion on Fair Trade and Chocolate on Wednesday, February 7 at 7pm.  See you there!  I would like to thank an old friend, Tanya Holland, and a new friend, Anthony Ferguson (Anthony is the owner of CACAO ANASA FINE CHOCOLATES ) for passing along this information for our readers.
